All our product testing and certification takes place at our ISO 17020-  17025-and 17065-accredited facility. For certifications of products of existing buildings, our qualified team will conduct a thorough on-site inspection before issuing a certification or compiling a list of recommendations to qualify for authorization.

Turnaround times for certification is two weeks. For tight internal deadlines, our engineers can expedite this process to ensure your organization receives its accreditation and results sooner.

VTEC Fire Door Scheme

VTEC’s Fire Door Scheme is a conformity assessment program developed in accordance with ISO/IEC 17065, ensuring impartial and consistent certification of door assemblies. The scheme verifies compliance with UL 10C – Positive Pressure Fire Tests of Door Assemblies through product testing, documentation review, and ongoing surveillance. Manufacturers must provide installation and manufacturing instructions, including hardware lists, diagrams, and fireproofing guidance, for VTEC’s evaluation prior to labeling. Certified products may bear the VTEC certification mark, demonstrating compliance with performance and safety standards, while continued validity is maintained through regular monitoring and adherence to VTEC certification requirements.
